This video provides an example of a gentler soundtrack I’d been asked to write to go with the drone-made panoramic shots of the exquisitely beautiful Kitzbühel in Austria. I decided to use the piano as a lighter organic instrument alongside some percussion to help keep the music moving. As a more old-school approach to soundtrack writing, I just let the video play and played in whatever music on the piano it inspired me to write, knowing that would likely create the perfect feel for the imagery.
